Project Summary & Impact
Business: Achieved a 75% reduction in document upload rejections—eliminating incorrect submissions—while boosting user engagement and platform uptime through enhanced actionable prompts. This proof-of-concept validated our strategy to address document upload errors in line with business objectives.
User: Enhanced user comprehension and task clarity via a streamlined action logic interface, leading to increased interaction with key prompts and a frictionless experience.
Validation through Follow-Up Interviews
Conducted a second round of interviews with the same user group to verify that the solution improved user awareness and understanding. Measured transaction success rates against baseline metrics to ensure error-free performance and a reduction in rejections—addressing the initial pain points identified.
Identifying User Pain Points Through Interviews
I established clear test objectives to develop targeted, project-specific questions. By conducting in-depth interviews, I pinpointed the root causes of document rejections and gained a deeper understanding of user challenges—insights that raw data alone could not provide. While quantitative data offers an overview, interviews reveal how users feel, think, and truly experience the process. This approach ensures I address genuine user problems before initiating design improvements.
Developed Concept Solutions & Prototypes to Address User Pain Points
Leveraged insights from user interviews to create targeted design solutions and interactive prototypes. Employed heuristic evaluation to ensure design quality and optimize the user experience. Below are select UI examples.
Key Learning
This project taught me that perfection is relative to specific project objectives. I strategically incorporated task timing and optimized user actions to enhance transaction clarity and reduce rejection rates. This experience underscored the value of continuous improvement and revealed several opportunities for further optimization, which I am eager to discuss.
